Ram Charan and Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’ Set for Year-End Release, Confirms Producer Dil Raju
Ram Charan and director Shankar’s highly anticipated film, ‘Game Changer’, is set for a grand theatrical release this Christmas. Producer Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations confirmed the new release date at the pre-release event fo user Dhanush’s ‘Raayan‘ in Hyderabad on July 21.
Originally scheduled for a Dussehra release, the film’s premiere was postponed due to minor production delays.
During the event, when the audience called out ‘Game Changer’, Dil Raju responded with a smile, “Game Changer? Let’s meet during Christmas.”
While Ram Charan completed his portions of the shoot in July, some scenes involving other cast members remain. Director Shankar, who was busy with the post-production of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, has now resumed work on ‘Game Changer’ and is expected to finish filming in the coming weeks.
‘Game Changer’ is a political thriller with a story by Karthik Subbaraj and a screenplay co-written by Shankar, Vivek Velmurugan, and Sai Madhav Burra.
Ram Charan will reportedly play triple roles in the film, which features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Srikanth, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Nassar. The technical crew includes composer S Thaman, cinematographer Tirru, and editor Shameer Muhammed.
