Mrunal’s Comments on Nepotism and Her Shocking Experiences for Not Being a Star Kid

After the tragic death of one of the most loved Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in his flat which was first assumed to be suicide done by him because of depression but later was found by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that it was a murder in which some famous faces of Bollywood names are mentioned where the word “Nepotism” is the most talked-about where the priority for the cast of any movies or series is given to the star kids, and the outsiders are being ignored and not being cast in the movies or a removed from many roles after casting any start kid. Sushant is, however, said to be a victim of Nepotism. After the incident which happened with Sushant, there are innumerable actor and actress who came up and spoke about the Nepotism they had been a part of. One such case recently highlighted was when in an exclusive interview with Mrunal Thakur, the girl coming from daily soap that has made a significant impact in Bollywood and has given some blockbusters.

Her Career

Mrunal has transitioned and made the right name on both TV and Movies. She has been successful in creating her niche and fandom. She is a rising star. Everybody is looking forward to witnessing the excellent content of her movies; she has various movies in her kitty. People who know the value of real struggle see that it never comes easy. To stay fit in any industry takes a lot of hardworking, strong determination; those who are aware of Mrunal life know that even her journey in Bollywood has come after immense struggle. 

One of the biggest plagues that have spread widely in Bollywood is Nepotism, which is as large as the film industry and is growing immensely. There is a vast difference in the treatment that an outsider and a star kid faces in Bollywood, the ones who don’t have a filmy background pay hard for every break they get and are not treated right. At present, every outsider, as well as an insider in Bollywood, is demanding equal opportunity and treatment, not only the actor and actress, the people are also concerned about their favorite and care about the same. The start in the making, Mrunal Thakur had faced the same burnt in her earlier career. 

Some of Her Experiences

She talked about two incidents where Mrunal was snubbed as she did not have a Bollywood lineage. She shared, “First was when she went off an award function where she was nominated for the Best Critics Award while getting it when Mrunal went to the stage, she was shown the exit and said Ma’am, there is the exit! In the same place where star kids were taken good care of. This does not end here. Mrunal also mentioned that “She went to an award function and as giving an interview when a start kid arrived, and the entire media ran towards the star kid.” She also mentioned that the media so much followed the Star kid that she could not even handle her outfit.

When talked about it, Mrunal said that this doesn’t affect her and the ones involved here is to only the star kids or the ones giving them breaks or the media but also the audience as it the audience who are addressed in the end and what they want to see the media is already giving them. She also mentioned that for this, she does not blame the star kids at all. The plaque film industry is suffering from is not because of one or two-person but by the entire crew in and out. To remove Nepotism, each one should stand together and eradicate it.
