MOHAN’S TRYST WITH THE SUPERNATURAL THUTTHA MUTTHA This SATURDAY @9PM

Udaya Television’s super hit game show ‘Thuttha Muttha’ is becoming one of the most watched shows in the state, thanks to the insight it provides into the lives of Karnataka’s beloved celebrities. And this week’s episode will be no different as Popular Actor Mohan will be pouring his heart out at 9 P.M. this Saturday.

In a heartfelt conversation with host Niranjan Deshpande, Mohan and his family revealed many unknown incidents that the actor has undergone. Recalling one such strange incident, Mohan explained that during the shoot of the action flick ‘Ugra Narasimha’, he suffered a lot of injuries on the location. “We were warned about Supernatural activities at the bungalow we were shooting in. We still went ahead and did it, only to have a huge tile land on my neck, leaving me unconscious. To top it, I had to endure a bruise in my back which lead me to visit the doctor every day during the shoot for a week. I never told my family the details but something did not let us shoot at the location peacefully. In fact, a producer who had previously given me a sacred thread to wear, felt that something was wrong and called up on the day of the tile accident” said Mohan as his family watched on.

Mohan along with his wife Vidya and mother Sathyabhama played the quiz contest, and were put to test for the prize money of Rs.5 lakhs. Vidya, who was a theatre artist during her college days, enthralled everyone with her soulful rendition of various songs on the show. Recalling her love story with Mohan, she revealed that he was popular among the girls and their love story took time to take off as he was constantly surrounded by them.

His mother Sathyabhama proudly spoke of her son’s endurance and positive attitude. Mohan went on to speak of the time when his mother had to undergo an intestine surgery and the horror of having to hold the removed organ post operation. Recollecting the experience Mohan said, “We speak of how a mother connects us with her umbilical cord, but to hold something that once thrived in her body sent shivers down my spine.”

Mohan became a household name with his popular comic roles in movies such as ‘Kurigalu Saar..’, ‘Kothigalu Saar..’, ‘Katthegalu Saar..’, ‘Malla’ and many blockbuster films. Despite a successful stint with comical roles, the actor has tried his hand at playing lead character, director and producer of various Kannada films. However, things went south when the fame faded away and the wicked ways of the industry pulled changed things for him. The actor He confidently declared on the show that he’s currently working on a project that will bring the love and fame back to him.
