Today I want to apologise to all Kannadigas for being ignorant during my childhood days
Let’s go few years back
Kannada Film Industry , Another name Sandalwood
Lol Sandalwood? those were the days I used to laugh thinking it sounds like a soap name!
During my childhood only Upendra’s films used to be dubbed in Telugu
Seeing those films I thought all films would be crazy like them
After sometime I watched a film called Vaana
The movie is good but while thinking why he spoiled the climax I found out that it’s a Kannada Remake
I thought they only make these kind of dull films
Another example was that there were many heresay or gossips back then that Andhrawala which was a flop here but Meher Ramesh remaked it as Veera Kannadiga which was a huge hit
I assumed that was their taste , And there were days where I thought that they’re only good at supplying good heroes to the Telugu Industry like Soundarya , Anushka etc
Whatever the reasons growing up I always looked down upon Sandalwood and many people do that’s a fact
Even when when people talk about South Indian cinema they mostly talk about Telugu Tamil Malayalam movies but not much about Kannada movies
It’s become a habit and till the past few years even I belonged to the same category
Then I saw these 15 films that changed my opinion on Kannada film industry forever
I never thought a day would come when I would Google the best Kannada films for watching them!
But now I am doing it quite often thanks to these 15 films
