Prime Video India has officially dropped The Traitors Telugu official trailer, introducing audiences to a high-stakes psychological reality game show. Hosted by popular actor Teja Sajja in his official OTT hosting debut, the series brings the globally acclaimed Dutch format ‘De Verraders’ into the regional Telugu space with intense drama and suspense. Released via Prime Video India’s official YouTube channel, the 163-second preview establishes a brutal atmosphere of betrayal, paranoia, and complex social strategy.
As highlighted in the gripping promotional cut, the core premise strands 20 celebrity contestants inside a grand, isolated palace where they must survive daily eliminations. Hidden among the innocent players are the ‘Traitors’, who sneak out every night to execute secret ‘murders’. During daylight hours, the remaining participants assemble for explosive round-table discussions to interrogate suspects and weed out deceit. The show’s official Telugu tagline, ‘Trust is Uncool, Mosam Ikkada New Rule’, perfectly encapsulates the cutthroat nature of this psychological battlefield.
The Traitors Telugu: Cast, Crew, and Game Mechanics
Produced by Kamna Menezes and Fazila Allana under SOL Production, the inaugural Telugu season features a diverse ensemble of 20 well-known personalities across cinema, music, digital media, and fashion. The star-studded contestant lineup includes prominent names such as Chinmayi Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi Mahavadi, Vidyu Raman, Sai Ronak, Sweekar Agasthi, Vishnu Oi, Shravya Varma, Shreedevi Chowdary, and Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, among others competing for a grand cash prize of up to ₹1 crore.
Teja Sajja steps into the shoes of the master of ceremonies, guiding the narrative with the intensity of a live murder mystery rather than a conventional reality show framework. The production wrapped up following an intense 11-day shoot, focusing heavily on raw emotional breakdowns, shifting alliances, and psychological tension.
