Cast, Crew, and Plot Details of Oh My Love
The story follows Prem, an easygoing, fun-loving college student whose universe centers around his loyal friends, particularly his classmate and best friend Prithvi. Complications ignite when Prithvi’s sister, Preethi, enters Prem’s life, turning their playful college banter into deep-seated romantic affection. Caught in a classic dilemma between unwavering friendship and budding romance, Prem faces intense emotional rifts and clashes with violent local antagonists who threaten his inner circle.
The film stars Akshith Shashikumar—son of 1990s Kannada screen veteran Shashikumar—stepping into the shoes of the romantic hero Prem. He stars opposite Keerthi Kalakeri as Preethi, while Prithvi Raj plays the loyal friend Prithvi. The supporting roster features veteran talent including S. Narayan, Pavitra Lokesh, and popular comedian Sadhu Kokila, alongside Dev Gill as the menacing antagonist. Behind the scenes, the project was steered by director Smile Sreenu, who handled the story and screenplay, with musical compositions crafted by Charan Arjun and cinematography by Halesh S.
Production, Hindi Dubbing, and Digital Release
While the original Kannada theatrical run received mixed responses for leaning into formulaic commercial tropes, the transition into a Hindi-dubbed format aims to capture a wider pan-Indian demographic on streaming and digital video networks. The production values emphasize colorful campus aesthetics, high-energy dance choreography by V. Murali, and gritty stunt work directed by Real Satish.
