Sandalwood is bracing itself for a chilling cinematic experience as Mythri Movie Makers drops the bone-chilling 418 Kannada Official Trailer on their official YouTube channel. Presented by blockbuster auteur Prashanth Neel, this psychological horror-thriller marks a striking genre departure for the prestigious banner, moving far away from commercial action spectacles to explore unadulterated, atmospheric dread. Clocking in at a brisk 211 seconds, the trailer establishes a deeply unsettling tone that has immediately sent shockwaves across Kannada cinema circles and digital platforms alike.
At the creative helm of 418: The Last Warning is debutant filmmaker Kirtan Nadagouda, a former assistant and co-director who worked closely with Prashanth Neel on monumental action epics like K.G.F and Salaar. The narrative plunges viewers into a rural medical college complex centered around the infamous Room No. 418—an ominous space that has remained bolted and sealed for 15 years due to dark local folklore. When the facility is reopened, young Vivek (portrayed by Surya Raj Veerabathini) and Devika (played by Chaithra J. Achar) find themselves caught in a terrifying spiral where psychological hallucinations violently blur into malevolent supernatural reality.
