Aarya debuted on the platform on 19 June 2020 under the Hotstar Specials label. It is based on a Dutch drama series entitled Penoza by Peter Bert Curtis, which tells the story of a wife and mother who, after the murder, took charge of her husband’s business tying the ends of her drug cartel.
